Peppermint Bark

Ingredients

  • 1 bar of dark chocolate

  • 2 bars of white chocolate

  • peppermint extract

  • 8 candy canes

Method

  • Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

  • Melt the dark chocolate, either in the microwave or using a bain-marie. Mix in 1tsp of peppermint extract.

  • Pour the chocolate onto the tray and spread to the edges.

  • Leave to set in the fridge for 1 hour.

  • Crush the candy canes in a ziplock bag.

  • Melt the white chocolate and mix in 1tsp of peppermint extract. Leave to cool for 2 minutes. Pour over the dark chocolate.

  • Top with crushed candy canes.

  • Leave to set in the fridge for 1 hour.

  • Remove from the fridge and leave to soften for a few minutes. Break into small pieces and enjoy :)
