Peppermint Bark
Ingredients
1 bar of dark chocolate
2 bars of white chocolate
peppermint extract
8 candy canes
Method
Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Melt the dark chocolate, either in the microwave or using a bain-marie. Mix in 1tsp of peppermint extract.
Pour the chocolate onto the tray and spread to the edges.
Leave to set in the fridge for 1 hour.
Crush the candy canes in a ziplock bag.
Melt the white chocolate and mix in 1tsp of peppermint extract. Leave to cool for 2 minutes. Pour over the dark chocolate.
Top with crushed candy canes.
Leave to set in the fridge for 1 hour.
Remove from the fridge and leave to soften for a few minutes. Break into small pieces and enjoy :)
