Mini Red Velvet Doughnuts

Makes 24 mini doughnuts

Ingredients

  • 125g plain gluten free flour
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 1tbsp baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 120ml milk
  • 1tbsp butter
  • 1/2tsp vanilla extract
  • 1tsp red food colouring
  • oil, to grease donut machine

Method

  • Preheat your doughnut maker. (I bought mine here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/VonShef-Electric-Doughnut-Machine-Warranty/dp/B00K7CQOG0)
  • In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. Add the egg, milk, butter, vanilla extract and combine.
  • Spray each cavity with oil. Leave to sit for 1 minute.
  • Pour approx. 1tbsp of the mixture into each cavity. Then place the lid down.
  • Cook for approx. 3 mins. 
  • Drizzle with icing or whatever you fancy.
